Getting involved at The Gathering Place...
Welcome Team
Are you a person that likes to help people feel relaxed in a new environment? We want people to feel welcome and comfortable the moment they walk in the door. Contact: Becky Bertrand.
Administration
Are you a behind-the-scenes person? Do you have a background or interest in financial and other administrative related matters? Please consider joining The Gathering Place administrative team. The time commitment would involve helping one to two Saturdays per month during the service. Contact: Matt Stanley.
Table Hosts
If you’re spiritually mature, quite comfortable with people and have a sensitive discerning spirit, you could have an important role at The Gathering Place as a table host. The ministry would entail: meeting new visitors, answering questions at tables that people may have, facilitating discussions that will be a regular part of the service, being a conduit for resources that people may need, being willing to pray with people for specific needs, or any other “service ministry” that may arise. Music
Do you have a musical gift to share at The Gathering Place? We are in need of worship leaders and backup vocalists. We also need those that can play piano, guitar, bass, percussion or other musical instruments. Contact: Linda Shaw.
Children’s Ministry
Do you enjoy building into children’s lives? Our children’s ministry may be your place to serve. Every week we will be running a children’s ministry for ages 4 - grade 5 using the Kid's own Worship curriculum. Our nursery ministry cares for and teaches the younger children during the service. the service. Contact: Justin Bethancourt.

Prayer
Are you convinced that God touches people’s lives through prayer? Would you like to have a front row seat as you watch Jesus do life transforming work in others’ lives? Perhaps God is asking you to join our prayer counseling team. Contact: Diane Riggenbach.
Will you pray? All God-ordained visions are shared visions – nobody goes it alone!! Please join us in seeking God for the unfolding of His vision for The Gathering Place. The Gathering Place believes that people need to serve in the area that reflects their passion, is in line with their gifting, matches their maturity and meets a need of the body of Christ. Because all believers are called and gifted, ministry is not for a select few. Every race, color, gender and age have the awesome privilege of contributing to God’s work.
