The Gathering Place is not a separate church, but rather a ministry of Jakarta International Christian Fellowship (JICF), we have the same elders and often the same teachers. The Gathering Place has a different audience than JICF. The Gathering Place is trying to reach out to the English speaking community in South Jakarta, therefore the service format is different. Also becasue of that, The Gathering Place has a "core team" who helped "birth" this service, and who help in an advisory capacity for The Gathering Place.
